About the role
Hill Group UK is hiring an Assistant Site Manager in Bracknell. The role supports the Site Manager in delivering safe, high-quality, on-time construction projects, and plays a key part in delivering developments that reflect the company's values of Ambition, Collaboration, Impact and Agility.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Site Manager in delivering safe, high-quality, on-time construction projects
- Lead day-to-day site activity, championing health and safety and quality standards
- Coordinate sub-contractors and ensure programmes, plans and regulations are followed
- Maintain a clean, well-presented site
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers and external partners
Required profile
- HNC/NVQ Level 4 or equivalent experience in construction
- Confident communicator with strong time management and leadership skills
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach and attention to detail
Required skills
- SMSTS and CSCS certification
- Relevant safety qualifications
- Knowledge of traditional, RC frame and timber frame construction
