About the role
The Associate Professor (Collaborative Curriculum Design) will lead a university‑wide, collaborative approach to programme and curriculum design, ensuring high‑quality offerings that meet the needs of Greenwich students. You will head a team of curriculum designers within the Curriculum Shape project and continue supporting curriculum design and revalidation across the university.
Key responsibilities
- Lead a collaborative curriculum design process that aligns with student needs and institutional strategy.
- Manage and develop a team of Curriculum Designers, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Design and deliver workshops, resources, and guidance on curriculum design best practices.
- Provide consultancy to senior leaders and programme teams on curriculum design and revalidation.
- Analyse student success metrics to identify design priorities at programme and aggregate levels.
- Participate in teaching, scholarship, and professional development activities as part of the academic learning and teaching pathway.
Required profile
- PhD or equivalent professional practice.
- Proven experience supporting programme teams in strategically aligned curriculum design.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across academic and professional services.
- Experience evaluating the impact of projects or interventions on student success.
- Strong credibility in curriculum design and the ability to engage senior staff.
Required skills
- Data analysis and interpretation to inform curriculum decisions.
- Consultancy and advisory skills for senior leadership.
