About the role

Join a well‑established North West accountancy practice as an Audit & Accounts Semi‑Senior. You will work in the growing Blackpool office, handling a diverse client portfolio across many industries while developing your technical expertise and professional qualifications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare year‑end statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships and LLPs.
• Assist with audit assignments, including fieldwork and audit file preparation.
• Build strong client relationships and respond to day‑to‑day queries.
• Collaborate with Managers and Partners on varied client engagements.
• Support and mentor junior team members.
• Develop technical knowledge through practical experience and ongoing study.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• Experience preparing statutory accounts and supporting audit work.
• AAT qualification with ambition to study towards ACCA (study support available).
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Proactive approach with a collaborative attitude.
