Audit and Accounts Senior

About the role

Trial Balance Consulting is expanding its practice to Bath and is seeking an Audit and Accounts Senior to help establish the new office. The role combines audit delivery, statutory accounts preparation and client relationship management within a supportive, hybrid working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory and management accounts for a varied client portfolio.
• Plan and execute audit assignments from start to finish.
• Manage client relationships and act as a trusted point of contact.
• Review and oversee work completed by junior team members.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and add value for clients.
• Ensure work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Previous experience in an accountancy practice environment.
• Strong audit and accounts preparation experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Commercially minded with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
