Audit Manager – Hybrid, Weybridge, Surrey

About the role

We are partnering with a high‑growth independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Weybridge to recruit an Audit Manager. This position offers hybrid and flexible working, allowing you to lead a varied portfolio of audit clients while collaborating closely with partners in a modern, forward‑thinking practice.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of audit clients from planning through completion.
• Lead audit engagements, ensuring work complies with UK audit standards.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the audit process.
• Review audit files, manage budgets, deadlines and resourcing across multiple assignments.
• Mentor and develop audit teams, providing technical guidance and constructive feedback.
• Build strong relationships with business owners, finance teams and senior stakeholders.
• Support business development activities, including tenders, proposals and identifying additional service opportunities.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualification.
• Full right to work in the UK.
• Recent audit experience within a UK accountancy practice, preferably from a Big Four, Top 10, Top 50 or regional firm.
• Background in pure audit or mixed audit and accounts work.
