Auto Technician Apprentice – Eastbourne

About the role

Join Halfords Autocentre in Eastbourne as an Apprentice and gain hands‑on experience working on a wide range of vehicles. You will rotate through servicing, inspections, complex repairs and engine rebuilds while developing diagnostic expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing and vehicle inspections.
• Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out part replacements, engine rebuilds and complex repairs.
• Work under the guidance of mentors and college lecturers to develop technical competence.
• Understand workshop operations from a commercial perspective.

• Adaptable, flexible and eager to solve new problems daily.
• Customer‑focused with strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn from mentors, colleagues and college instruction.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good grasp of theoretical and practical vehicle systems.
