Automation & AI Apprentice

About the role

The Automation & AI Apprentice will support the delivery of automation, digital improvement and workflow optimisation initiatives across Communitas Clinics. Working within the PSTD team, you will develop practical skills in Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, AI‑enabled workflows and process improvement, helping departments reduce manual effort and improve outcomes for staff and patients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
• Support digital improvement and workflow optimisation projects.
• Explore and implement artificial‑intelligence and emerging technology solutions.
• Design and execute robotic process automation (RPA) scripts.
• Provide user support and training on new tools and processes.

Required profile

• Strong interest in technology, automation and digital improvement.
• Good understanding of Microsoft 365 applications.
• Ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
• Level 3 qualification (Apprenticeship/A Levels/BTEC) or equivalent work experience (≈2 years) and 5 GCSEs including English and Maths (grade 4/C or above).
• Experience or awareness of Microsoft Power Platform, Teams, SharePoint, Planner or similar collaboration tools is beneficial.
