Azure DevOps ADO Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an Azure DevOps (ADO) Consultant to re‑structure and optimise the client’s Azure DevOps environment. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in designing and configuring ADO, applying industry best practice to improve delivery across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the current Azure DevOps configuration and its use across requirements gathering, sprint management, testing, defect and task management.
• Collaborate with Change and IT teams to discuss and challenge proposed changes.
• Implement agreed‑upon configuration changes and optimise the environment.
• Provide training and up‑skilling for Project Management, Business Analysis and Testing teams.
• Produce clear written guidance and documentation where required.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in designing and configuring Azure DevOps (ADO) environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery best practices, including requirements, sprints, testing, defect and task management.
• Ability to review existing setups, recommend improvements and constructively challenge stakeholders.
• Confident trainer with experience delivering clear documentation.
