Baggage Room Attendant

About the role

Executive Aviation is seeking enthusiastic Baggage Room Attendants to join the team at Halifax Airport for a seasonal full‑time assignment. You will work directly under the Ramp Lead, ensuring safe and efficient handling of passenger baggage during a busy travel period.

Key responsibilities

• Support airline operations by safely moving baggage throughout the ramp area.
• Complete required training and maintain competency on all equipment and airline processes.
• Work collaboratively with the ramp team to sort guest baggage according to the load plan.
• Lift bags from conveyor belts and place them onto baggage carts.
• Execute additional tasks as directed by the Ramp Lead.

Required profile

• Flexible availability for shift work, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, crouch, kneel, push, pull and lift up to 70 lb (32 kg) for extended periods.
• Willingness to wear required safety gear: steel‑toe boots, reflective vest and hearing protection.
• Eligibility for a Transport Canada Restricted Area pass, a clean criminal background check, and a valid driver’s licence with a clean abstract.
