About the role

Holdingham Grange, a care home in Sleaford, Lincolnshire, is looking for a bank Care Assistant to join its day team. The role provides flexible cover for absences, so hours and days vary according to service needs. The pay is £13 per hour, with the final rate discussed at interview.

Key responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to individuals, especially those living with dementia
Support daily living tasks including personal care, meals and medication
Engage residents in activities that enrich their quality of life
Provide companionship and emotional support
Monitor and report changes in residents' wellbeing
Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals

Required profile

Experience in dementia care is desirable but not essential, as full training is provided
Caring, empathetic and friendly personality
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and grow professionally
Flexibility to work varied shifts based on service needs
An enhanced DBS check is required
