Domestic Assistant

About the role

Glenholme Healthcare is looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Domestic Assistant to join its team at Holdingham Grange, a purpose-built care home in Sleaford. The home provides person-centred care for adults with a range of care needs, and the domestic team keeps the home safe, clean and comfortable for residents, visitors and staff. The position is part-time, 37.5 hours per week, at £13 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Clean bathrooms, lounges, hallways, stairs, kitchens, communal areas and the front and back of the home to agreed standards
• Keep a set of keys and ensure the security of cleaning areas
• Report maintenance issues following company procedures
• Assist with laundry, making sure residents' clothes are returned correctly and on time
• Follow infection control measures and comply with COSHH regulations
• Support the care staff team with cleaning resident bedrooms under supervision

Required profile

• An enhanced DBS check is required
• Enthusiastic and friendly attitude
