Bar Host – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Savoy Hotel is seeking a Bar Host to deliver an exceptional Forbes 5‑star service experience across its food and beverage outlets. You will be the first point of contact for guests, sharing your knowledge of the hotel’s offerings and creating memorable luxury experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a memorable Forbes 5‑star service across all F&B outlets.
• Assist guests with menu choices, reservations and upselling initiatives.
• Share information about promotions, hotel history and Savoy stories.
• Maintain a professional, smart and neatly groomed appearance.
• Follow health and safety policies when handling food and beverage.
• Carry out administrative duties such as printing menus and managing stationery requisitions.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years serving or hosting experience in a luxury hospitality environment.
• Passion for 5‑star hospitality and ability to deliver it.
• Empathetic, able to build rapport and read guest interaction levels.
• Quick thinking, resourceful and calm under pressure.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of a POS system.
• Basic knowledge of OpenTable reservation platform.
• Industry‑related certification such as WSET (wine).
