Billings Officer – Public Sector (Hybrid, 3‑4 months)

About the role
This temporary position supports a public sector organisation with the billing of both historical and current utility charges. The role is hybrid, requiring three days per week in a central London office.
Key responsibilities
- Support billing of historical and current utility charges.
- Assist with billing of historical operational cost charges.
- Raise purchase orders for property‑related expenses.
- Reconcile on‑account billing against actual data and maintain billing files.
- Reconcile invoices and ensure timely payment.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and operational teams to guarantee accurate and timely billing.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Billings Officer or in a billing administration role.
- Experience managing high‑volume billing and invoicing processes.
- Desirable experience within utilities billing or a similar cost‑recovery environment.
Required skills
- Experience with MRI Horizon or similar property/asset management systems.
- Proficiency in handling high‑volume invoicing, reconciliation, and purchase order creation.
