BIM Modeler – 12‑Month Outside IR35 Contract

About the role

We are seeking a proactive BIM Modeler Architect to join a 12‑month outside IR35 contract supporting a multi‑billion‑pound nuclear infrastructure programme in the UK. Working hybrid (3 days on‑site, 2 days remote), you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to produce accurate BIM models, design drawings, and technical documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Create, develop and manage Building Information Models in line with project BIM standards.
• Produce architectural plans, detailed submittals, shop drawing reviews and technical documentation for RIBA 2‑3 development stages.
• Coordinate BIM models with stakeholders, ensure accuracy, consistency and quality control of all deliverables.
• Participate in 3D model reviews, clash detection, and resolution of design conflicts.
• Support environmental impact and sustainability studies for the design and construction process.
• Maintain BIM workflows, templates and best practices, and contribute to project meetings.

Required profile

• Recognised bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture.
• Minimum of 5 years of architectural and/or BIM experience.
• Ability to work independently, apply engineering judgment and devise innovative problem‑solving approaches.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Architecture).
