Bordereau Reporting Technician – Insurance Operations

About the role

This position offers an excellent opportunity to join a growing insurance business in London, supporting the management of bordereaux across the company and its MGA cells. You will work closely with carriers, underwriters and coverholders to ensure accurate data processing and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Review written, paid and claims bordereaux on a monthly basis.
• Monitor and resolve errors identified through exception reporting tools.
• Handle bordereaux‑related queries from MGAs and carriers.
• Develop a strong understanding of bordereaux structures, data fields and carrier‑specific requirements.
• Submit relevant bordereaux to the Binder Bordereaux System.
• Create and maintain premium mapping templates for new or existing binders/sections.
• Resolve validation errors and escalate issues to underwriters, coverholders or delegated underwriting teams.
• Support reporting requirements and ensure submissions meet governance and carrier expectations.
• Prepare cash collection statements for bureau‑related transactions.
• Assist with internal and external audit reviews related to bordereaux and binder data.

Required profile

• Experience in insurance operations or delegated authority/bordereaux management.
• Knowledge of risk, premium and claims bordereaux; Lloyd's V5.2 standards desirable.
• Understanding of delegated authority structures and London insurance market operations.
• Inquisitive mindset with strong problem‑solving and query‑resolution skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently or as part of a team.
