About the role
As a Branch Cook and Supermarket Assistant you will split your time between the Partner Dining Room kitchen and the shop floor. You will prepare hot and cold meals for partners during breaks and support the retail team with stock, online orders and customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Run the kitchen efficiently, maintaining cleanliness, safety and high food‑hygiene standards.
- Control portion sizes, storage and waste to protect profitability.
- Replenish shelves, ensure products are correctly placed and manage stock levels.
- Prepare online orders for delivery and support Click & Collect processes.
- Assist at checkout, fulfil on‑demand customer orders and keep the shop tidy.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a cook in a catering or hospitality setting.
- Passion for food and ability to serve a varied, nutritious menu.
- Customer‑focused with strong commercial awareness.
- Flexible to move between kitchen and shop floor as needed.
Required skills
- Food preparation and portion control.
- Kitchen hygiene and safety practices.
- Stock replenishment and online order fulfillment.
- City & Guilds 706 1 and 2 or NVQ equivalent (preferred).
- Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 (preferred).
