Branch Manager

About the role

First Military Recruitment is seeking a Branch Manager for a rapidly expanding retail business in Chandlers Ford. This full‑time position offers a competitive salary and the chance to lead a dynamic team while driving sales and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for day‑to‑day management, performance and profitability of the branch.
• Lead the team to achieve and exceed sales targets, KPIs and financial objectives.
• Develop new business opportunities and nurture relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Manage sales margins, overheads and operational efficiency.
• Coach, develop and motivate staff to maximise individual and team performance.
• Maintain high standards of branch presentation, housekeeping and stock management.
• Promote a strong health and safety culture and ensure compliance with company standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in branch, retail or supervisory management.
• Proven ability to lead, develop and inspire a successful team.
• Track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business.
• Proactive, hands‑on leader with strong commercial awareness.
• Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and make informed decisions.
