Building Manager – Central London Landmark Property

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Building Manager to lead the operations of a prestigious, multi‑tenanted landmark property in Central London. The role involves overseeing a 200,000 sq ft building, ensuring high‑quality service for high‑profile tenants and maintaining the asset’s reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for all operational matters and tenant relations.
• Manage day‑to‑day building operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety and statutory regulations.
• Oversee the service charge budget and financial performance of the site.
• Coordinate and monitor both hard‑FM and soft‑FM contracts.
• Lead the on‑site team, including an Assistant Building Manager and an Engineering Manager.
• Ensure the performance and maintenance of mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large, multi‑tenanted commercial buildings.
• Strong technical knowledge of M&E systems and health & safety regulations.
• Experience handling service charge budgets and leading on‑site teams.
• Relevant industry qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH (preferred).
