Building Surveyor – Hybrid Role in Bristol

About the role

Our client, a well‑established multidisciplinary consultancy in Bristol city centre, is seeking a hybrid Building Surveyor to join their growing team. The role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of high‑profile projects across several sectors, with strong mentorship and professional development opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver professional and project‑focused surveying services for a range of clients.
• Administer JCT contracts and manage projects from inception to completion.
• Prepare detailed specifications and reports to support design and construction teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Contribute to business development by identifying commercial opportunities.

Required profile

• Degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
• MRICS membership or working towards chartership.
• Experience within a consultancy environment delivering surveying and project work.
• Proactive, commercially aware and able to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Administration of JCT contracts.
• Project management from start‑up to handover.
• Specification writing for construction projects.
