Building Surveyor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join a growing multidisciplinary consultancy in the South East. The role offers a varied portfolio across education, commercial, healthcare and residential sectors, with hybrid working and clear progression to senior partnership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project‑based building surveying work from inception to completion.
• Prepare specifications and contract documentation.
• Carry out contract administration and site inspections.
• Attend progress meetings and issue contract instructions.
• Produce technical reports for clients.
• Develop independent project ownership as experience grows.
• Work across education, commercial, healthcare and residential sectors.
• Split time between office and site with hybrid working arrangements.

Required profile

• Strong building surveying experience.
• Solid construction knowledge.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Ambition to develop professionally and progress towards partnership.
