About the role
As a Business Support Administrator you will be the backbone of service delivery, providing essential administrative assistance to both internal teams and external customers. Working on‑site, you will help ensure that council processes run smoothly and that every interaction reflects a positive image of the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with customers, promoting a positive image of the Council and resolving queries within your remit.
- Perform a wide range of administrative tasks using tailored software and office machinery.
- Carry out reprographic work including printing, copying, enveloping, and scanning.
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders and internal customers.
- Identify and recommend improvements to processes within your role or team.
- Review your own work for accuracy and completeness.
Required profile
- Good communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Educated to GCSE/NVQ2 standard or equivalent, including English and Maths.
- Ability to juggle priorities effectively, often with conflicting demands.
- Caring, helpful and able to work as part of a team.
- Customer‑focused with a can‑do attitude.
