CAD Technician (Leeds)

About the role

This full-time, permanent position is based in Leeds and offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented CAD professional to work in a fast-paced project environment. You will produce accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings and collaborate closely with technical, operations and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Interpret project specifications and translate them into detailed CAD drawings.
• Work closely with technical, operations and project teams to meet project requirements.
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback and project changes.
• Maintain organised digital drawing files and technical documentation.
• Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and specifications.
• Support continuous improvement of CAD processes and best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience using AutoCAD in a professional environment.
• Strong understanding of technical drawing principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
