Care Assistant - Days

About the role

Glenholme Healthcare is recruiting a full-time Care Assistant for its new care home, Wendreth Court, in March, Cambridgeshire. The post is 33 hours per week and covers day shifts; candidates must be able to work alternate weekends. No experience is required.

Key responsibilities

• Companionship
• Helping with personal care
• Helping with mobility around the home
• Overseeing medication and providing medical support
• Helping with housework such as cleaning and vacuuming
• Preparing and cooking meals

Required profile

• Adaptable and personable, putting others first
• Patience, a sense of humour and good listening skills
• Ability to think on your feet, as each day is varied
• Enhanced DBS check required

• Pay of £13 per hour
