Cashier – High‑Value Transactions & Bullion Specialist

About the role

This permanent Cashier position is based in London and focuses on processing high‑value cash, card and bank‑transfer transactions within a regulated financial services environment. You will handle precious‑metal trades, support secure order fulfilment and ensure strict compliance with AML and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Process high‑value cash, card and bank‑transfer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Execute buy and sell orders for precious metals and bullion following internal procedures.
• Validate online payments, manage order fulfilment and distribution activities.
• Perform daily reconciliations of cash and stock holdings, investigating any discrepancies.
• Carry out customer due‑diligence (CDD) checks and support AML compliance.
• Prepare transaction confirmations, invoices and maintain audit‑ready records.

Required profile

• Experience in a bank, Post Office, currency exchange or bullion brokerage.
• Strong numerical ability and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven track record handling high‑value transactions and reconciliations.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure in a regulated environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with transaction processing systems.
