CCTV Call Centre Agent – Full‑time, Shift Work

About the role

Security Monitoring Centres (SMC) in Nottingham are looking for full‑time CCTV Call Centre Agents to join their 24/7 monitoring team. You will work a rotating shift pattern of two day shifts, two night shifts and four days off, handling alarm alerts and providing a calm, professional response to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process inbound and outbound calls related to CCTV and intruder alarm activations.
• Contact customers promptly to verify alarms and determine the appropriate action.
• Inform Emergency Services and relay accurate information when required.
• Document alarm events and update system records accurately.
• Work collaboratively with the monitoring team to ensure premises remain secure.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Previous experience in a telephone‑based or contact‑centre environment is desirable.
• Ability to work rotating day and night shifts.
• Possession of an SIA CCTV badge is advantageous but not mandatory.
