Charity Fundraiser – Door‑to‑Door Sales Executive (Dogs Trust)

About the role

Charity Link is seeking enthusiastic Door‑to‑Door Sales Executives to represent Dogs Trust across the Colchester area. You will engage the public face‑to‑face, encouraging regular monthly donations or lottery sign‑ups to support the charity’s mission of rescuing and rehoming dogs.

Key responsibilities

• Approach households and community venues to deliver the Dogs Trust story.
• Secure recurring direct‑debit donations and lottery registrations.
• Maintain accurate records of contacts and sales activity.
• Meet or exceed individual and team fundraising targets.
• Participate in regular training and coaching sessions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in door‑to‑door, field or direct sales, canvassing or fundraising.
• Confident communicator who enjoys meeting new people.
• Resilient and able to handle objections and rejection.
• Self‑motivated with a strong drive to achieve targets.

Required skills

• Ability to build rapport quickly.
• Effective verbal communication.
• Basic numeracy for handling donations.

• £26,400 guaranteed basic salary.
