About the role
La Mon Hotel & Country Club is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join its kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting high‑quality dishes across all hotel outlets, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets and room service, while upholding the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and present food to hotel standards for all outlets and banquets.
- Supervise and support Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants within a designated section.
- Monitor stock levels, report ordering needs and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Maintain strict health, safety and hygiene practices throughout the kitchen.
- Control portion sizes, minimise waste and ensure consistent quality.
- Check deliveries, report maintenance issues and ensure safe operation of kitchen equipment.
Required profile
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie in a hotel or similar environment.
- Ability to work shift‑based schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Willingness to work overtime during busy events and peak seasons.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills with kitchen and hospitality staff.
