Chief Executive Officer – TrustMark

About the role

TrustMark is seeking a purpose‑driven Chief Executive Officer to steer the organisation through a pivotal transformation. The role combines commercial leadership with a commitment to consumer protection and long‑term societal impact.

Key responsibilities

• Lead TrustMark through a critical transformation phase, setting strategic direction and ensuring commercial sustainability.
• Act as the principal ambassador, building trusted relationships with government, regulators, industry bodies and commercial partners.
• Drive organisational change, strengthen stakeholder confidence and embed a culture of innovation and resilience.
• Oversee the executive team, ensuring effective governance and delivery of the organisation’s public‑interest objectives.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in a regulated, consumer‑focused sector such as construction, retrofit, energy efficiency, home improvement or financial services.
• Commercially astute with a track record of balancing public‑interest goals with commercial performance.
• Strong credibility, judgement and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across public and private sectors.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with experience of leading large‑scale transformation programmes.

Required skills

What we offer

• Salary between £150,000 and £160,000 per annum.
• Executive benefits package, discretionary bonus and car allowance.
