Chief Finance Officer – Flexible Part‑Time Role

About the role

We are looking for a senior finance leader to deliver part‑time CFO services to ambitious private businesses in the Thames Valley region. The role is self‑employed, offering autonomy, flexibility and the chance to build a personal portfolio of clients while being supported by a global network of CFOs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic CFO/Finance Director services to £2‑50 million private companies, helping owners achieve growth, acquisition or consolidation goals.
• Develop and manage a personal portfolio of client engagements, delivering financial insight, forecasting and performance reporting.
• Act as a trusted advisor, building long‑lasting relationships with CEOs, founders and managing directors.

Required profile

• Qualified chartered accountant from a UK recognised institute.
• Proven experience as a CFO or Finance Director in commercial environments.
• Strong commercial finance, business strategy and advisory capabilities.
