Civils Supervisor – 6‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civils Supervisor to join a leading UK fibre infrastructure business on a six‑month fixed‑term contract. The role involves supervising civil and fibre works on major network build projects across London, England and Wales, with a hybrid working pattern.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise civil and fibre infrastructure projects, including Openreach PIA and chamber installations.
• Manage subcontractors delivering civils works and ensure quality standards.
• Carry out site inspections, quality assurance checks and re‑measurement of completed works.
• Coordinate travel to sites, initially around Greater London and later nationwide.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising civil construction projects in fibre, telecoms or utilities.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and oversee quality assurance.
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification (required); NRSWA desirable.
