Class 1 (C+E) Driver – Coventry (CV2) – £18.52‑£19.66/hr

About the role

We are seeking Class 1 (C+E) drivers to join a leading retail chain in Coventry. The role involves vendor collection and depot‑to‑depot deliveries, with 2‑3 drops per shift. Both day and night shifts are available, and drivers are paid for any required assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and deliver goods between depots and retail locations.
• Complete 2‑3 drop‑offs per shift, following planned routes.
• Attend a paid theory and driving assessment, or an induction if already DHL assessed.
• Work scheduled shifts, including early mornings, afternoons and nights.
• Maintain accurate records using a digital tachograph.

Required profile

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 6 months.
• No prior experience required, but a willingness to pass a driving assessment.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points on licence.
• Possession of a UK Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification.

Required skills

• Excellent reversing and manoeuvring abilities.
