Class 1 (C+E) Driver – Ongoing Work in Skelmersdale

About the role

Proman UK is seeking experienced Class 1 (C+E) drivers for ongoing, regular work based in Skelmersdale. You will join a busy transport operation that focuses on secondary distribution, delivering goods to a variety of customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver roller‑caged goods to customer locations using a tail lift.
• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily vehicle checks in line with company procedures.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and report any vehicle defects.
• Maintain communication with the transport team throughout each shift.
• Represent the business professionally at customer sites.

Required profile

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 12 months of Class 1 driving experience.
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations.
• Flexibility to cover both store deliveries and trunking work when required.
