Class 1 HGV Driver – 4 on/4 off Shifts

About the role

We are seeking experienced Class 1 HGV drivers to join our transport team in Lesmahagow. You will operate curtain‑sided trailers, delivering palletised goods across northern and southern routes while enjoying a predictable 4‑on/4‑off shift pattern.

Key responsibilities

• Drive curtain‑sided trailers to deliver palletised goods safely and on time.
• Secure loads by strapping and checking goods to prevent movement or damage.
• Complete daily vehicle checks using a company mobile device.
• Maintain clear communication with the transport team and customers.
• Participate in regular training to stay compliant with safety and industry standards.

Required profile

• Valid UK Class 1 (CE) licence.
• Current DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good geographical knowledge of the UK.
• Fit, flexible, hardworking and self‑motivated.
