Class 1 HGV Driver – Daytime (Burton on Trent)

About the role

Palletforce Logistics is looking for an experienced Class 1 HGV driver to join our day‑time fleet. You will be responsible for transporting goods safely across the country while providing a professional service that meets our customers' expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
• Operate handheld terminals and record accurate delivery information.
• Complete all required paperwork and return it to the Transport Office.
• Report any delivery issues promptly to the Transport Office.
• Provide a courteous and reliable driving service, exceeding customer expectations.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Work weekends as required.

Required profile

• Legal right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
• Valid Class 1 HGV licence.
• Willingness to work weekends.
