Class 2 Driver – Furniture Delivery (IKEA)

About the role

We are looking for a Class 2 Driver to join our team in Dartford, delivering IKEA furniture to customers’ homes. You will work as part of a two‑person delivery crew, providing a high level of customer service while handling and securing loads.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver furniture to customers’ residences, placing items in the room of choice.
• Assist the Driver’s Mate with lifting and shifting of furniture.
• Secure vehicle and stock, complete tachograph records and perform vehicle checks before and after journeys.
• Report any vehicle defects and ensure compliance with legislation and company policies.

Required profile

• Physically fit for lifting and moving furniture.
• Full UK driving licence with category C entitlement.
• No more than six penalty points and no disqualifying endorsements in the past five years.
• Previous experience driving category C vehicles is desirable.
• Successful DBS check.

Required skills

• Category C driving licence.
• Ability to operate tachograph equipment.
