Class 2 HGV Driver – Staples Corner

About the role

Travis Perkins is hiring a Class 2 HGV driver for its Staples Corner branch in Cricklewood, Greater London. The job is full-time and permanent, with sociable hours (no evenings or overnights) and a competitive salary plus bonus.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver building materials from the branch to local customers, keeping everything safe and sound.
• Load the vehicle with the HIAB, check that it is properly packed and legal, then make around 14 drops a day.
• Return to the branch to reload when needed, acting professionally as the branch's face on the road.

Required profile

• Class 2 driving licence, up-to-date CPC records and a Category B licence held for 12+ months.
• Confidence in building and developing customer relationships.
• Safety focus, completing tasks professionally.
• HIAB experience is not required; HIAB training is fully funded and arranged by the branch.
