Class 2 Multi‑Drop Driver – Ongoing Delivery (Southampton)

About the role

We are seeking Class 2 drivers for ongoing multi‑drop deliveries of alcoholic beverages to licensed premises and commercial customers in Southampton. You will work alongside a Driver’s Mate who will help with loading, unloading and customer interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Complete multi‑drop deliveries to licensed premises and commercial customers.
• Drive a Class 2 rigid vehicle safely and professionally.
• Assist the Driver’s Mate with loading and unloading cases and kegs.
• Handle alcohol products, including manual handling of cases and kegs.
• Complete delivery paperwork and operate handheld devices.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and adhere to driver‑hours and road‑safety regulations.

Required profile

• Valid UK Category C / Class 2 driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum of six penalty points and no disqualifying convictions.
• Comfortable with manual handling and multi‑drop work.
• Reliable, punctual and customer‑focused.

Required skills

What we offer

• £16.30 per hour (hourly rate).
• Ongoing temporary work with regular 10‑hour shifts.
• Start times between 5:00 am and 7:00 am, induction at 7:00 am.
• Support from a Driver’s Mate.
• Six positions available.
