Cleaner (Driving Licence Required)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable cleaner to join our team on a part‑time, temporary basis in Cumbria. The role requires a valid driving licence to travel between sites and to transport cleaning equipment as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Dust, sweep, vacuum and mop all designated areas, including offices, bathrooms, kitchens and storage rooms.
• Restock and replenish cleaning consumables such as hand wash, toilet paper and paper towels.
• Wash and maintain kitchen napkins, floor rags and dusters.
• Collect and dispose of waste and recyclables.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks, e.g., replace displaced toilet seats and unclog sinks.
• Carry out monthly deep‑cleaning and disinfection procedures.
• Monitor cleaning product levels and order new supplies when required.
• Maintain up‑to‑date Material Safety Data Sheets and follow universal precaution guidelines.

Required profile

• Valid UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and follow cleaning schedules.
• Attention to detail and commitment to health‑and‑safety standards.

Required skills
