Clerk of Works – Façade & Cladding Specialist

About the role

The consultancy is seeking an experienced Clerk of Works to join its London team. You will oversee a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial and education projects, with a particular focus on façade and cladding remediation.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out regular site inspections across multiple live projects.
• Monitor workmanship, materials and installation against drawings and specifications.
• Inspect and report on façade, cladding and external envelope remediation works.
• Produce clear, accurate compliance and progress reports.
• Collaborate closely with project teams, contractors and clients to ensure quality and statutory compliance.

Required profile

• ICWCI accreditation.
• Proven experience as a Clerk of Works within a consultancy or client‑side environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of residential, commercial and education projects.
• In‑depth understanding of building regulations, quality control and construction standards.
• Confident communicator with a pragmatic on‑site approach.
