Client Project Manager - Refurbishment & Maintenance

About the role

Optimal Maintenance & Construction is a property maintenance and refurbishment company serving estate agents, housing associations and private landlords. It is looking for a Client Project Manager to run an end-to-end client delivery role: winning work, managing relationships, quoting and surveying jobs, booking engineers, managing projects and collecting payment. This is a commercially focused, full-time permanent position, UK hours Monday to Friday 8am-5pm, remote.

Key responsibilities

• Win new clients through outbound engagement, referrals and networking, and turn inbound leads into retained accounts
• Write and issue itemised quotes in the CRM, liaise with suppliers and subcontractors and follow up outstanding quotes
• Schedule jobs in the CRM, issue work orders, coordinate materials and access, and monitor progress
• Act as single point of contact for clients, carry out quality checks and provide job summaries
• Invoice within 24 hours of completion, chase payments and track project profitability
• Meet weekly and monthly KPIs on revenue, jobs booked, quote turnaround and collections, and take part in daily stand-ups

Required profile

• 2+ years in property maintenance, refurbishment or construction, ideally as Project Manager, Estimator, Quantity Surveyor or similar
• Clear grasp of building services, trade workflows and client expectations
• Able to manage project costs, prepare quotes and drive revenue through client management
• Remote setup with two screens, reliable high-speed internet and backup power
