Client Service Executive - Private Bank

About the role

Barclays is hiring a Client Service Executive in Glasgow for its Private Bank, within the Banking Operations area. The role provides first-class customer service by supporting clients in their day-to-day banking and helping them through various communication channels. It is a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Provide resolutions for customer queries and issues, personalising each interaction through multiple communication channels.
• Collaborate across digital channels to personalise interactions and enhance the bank's digital capabilities where current technology is not yet ready.
• Respond to inquiries, resolve issues and handle client requests efficiently.
• Support internal stakeholders such as sales, operational and risk management teams so transactions are executed accurately and on time.
• Support business operations teams, including risk management, compliance and collections.
• Comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies on customer care.

Required profile

• Customer service experience, interacting with clients daily and providing support and understanding around their queries.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in customer service.
• Ability to take on board new information and adapt to new situations.
• Willingness to challenge and be challenged in the team and to advocate for improvements to processes.

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft tools and their usage.
• Other highly valued skills may include risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology.
