About the role
Centralis is seeking a Client Services Accountant for its Didcot office. The role offers the chance to work with a diverse portfolio of private‑market clients, fund structures and corporate entities while developing expertise in regulatory and management reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients, handling monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare and process journals and finalise management account packs.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and support the preparation of financial statements for corporations, LLPs and consolidations.
- Prepare FCA regulatory returns and review P11D and PAYE Settlement Agreement calculations.
- Liaise with auditors, upload audit information and communicate with clients both virtually and face‑to‑face.
- Support junior team members and handle ad‑hoc tasks as required.
Required profile
- Minimum three years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proven ability to prepare management accounts with minimal supervision.
- Studying towards a professional qualification (ACCA/ACA) is desirable.
- Valid UK work permit.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero or Twinfield (desirable).
- Ability to prepare financial statements using standard tools.
