Client Support, Treaty Reinsurance (London)
Ameera Talent Solutions · London
Job description
About the role
A global Lloyd's broker, a recognised leader in reinsurance, is growing its Treaty team and wants a Client Support professional within its Specialty Reinsurance team, organised by class of business (property, casualty, marine, energy and terror, cyber and aviation). The role sits at the centre of the placement process, working alongside brokers, clients and underwriters on new business, renewals and mid-term changes. It is a hands-on, individual contributor role with training provided, and two positions are open.
Key responsibilities
- Review client documentation so it is complete and accurate enough to support quoting.
- Prepare or check market presentations and gather client requirements so each risk is marketed correctly.
- Produce compliant Market Reform Contracts (MRCs) and market documents with the right authorisations.
- Act as day-to-day contact for clients and respond quickly to market and third-party queries.
- Build relationships with clients and underwriters and support senior brokers with renewals and mid-term adjustments.
- Link Broking and Technical Processing with accurate handover documentation.
- Monitor premium payments, ensure due dates are met and keep client files and system records accurate.
- Plan your own workload to agreed targets, contribute to team meetings and provide management information when needed.
Required profile
- 3 to 4 years of experience, ideally in treaty reinsurance.
- Background supporting treaty brokers through the placement process.
- Working knowledge of MRC production.
- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent (A levels desirable).
Required skills
- Clear written and verbal communication and relationship-building.
- Numeracy, organisation and attention to detail, calm under deadline pressure.
- Word, Excel and Outlook.
The role suits someone with a solid London market grounding who wants to deepen treaty expertise. The employer offers a competitive salary and benefits, and the arrangement is hybrid (3 to 4 days in the office).
