Clinical Pharmacist – Responsible Pharmacist (Afternoons)

About the role

Join the nation’s largest online pharmacy as a Clinical Pharmacist responsible for afternoon shifts. You will be accountable for safe, compliant pharmacy operations while ensuring the highest clinical accuracy for NHS and private prescriptions.

Key responsibilities

• Assume Responsible Pharmacist duties and maintain legal, ethical and GPhC‑compliant pharmacy governance.
• Oversee safe and effective dispensary operations in a high‑volume environment.
• Clinically check all NHS and private prescriptions for accuracy, dosage and safety.
• Manage prescription queries and responses within agreed service level agreements.
• Review and appropriately escalate incidents and near‑misses to support patient safety.

Required profile

• Registered pharmacist with a current GPhC registration.
• Experience working in a high‑throughput pharmacy setting.
• Ability to work the afternoon shift (15:00‑23:00) Monday‑Friday.
