CNC Milling Setter/Operator – Precision Engineering

About the role

We are looking for an experienced CNC Milling Setter/Operator to join our precision engineering team in Andover. You will work with advanced CNC equipment to produce low‑volume, high‑precision components for demanding industries. The role offers a modern workshop environment and the chance to develop your machining expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce complex parts.
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Machine first‑off and batch work to tight tolerances.
• Perform self‑inspection using measuring equipment and record results.
• Select appropriate tooling and optimise machining processes.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient work area.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement and quality initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CNC Miller Setter/Operator.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of quality standards.
• Capability to work independently and manage workload.
• Desire to produce high‑quality precision components.
