About the role
The Combined Cadet Force School Staff Instructor (CCF SSI) provides essential support to the CCF at Wymondham College. Working 29 hours per week on a term‑time basis, the role links the Army and RAF sections, ensuring smooth coordination, administration and communication across the contingent.
Key responsibilities
- Manage Ministry of Defence (MOD) compliance paperwork and reporting.
- Maintain stores, equipment and inventories for cadet activities.
- Coordinate activities between the Army and RAF sections of the CCF.
- Provide administrative support and clear communication to cadets and staff.
- Assist with planning and delivering cadet training events.
Required profile
- Clear, tactful communication skills and awareness of impact on others.
- Ability to build positive relationships with cadets, CCF staff and colleagues.
- Flexibility to adapt methods and routines for team benefit.
- Strong multi‑tasking ability and resilience under pressure.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
