Commercial Controller - QSR

About the role

Advocate Group is recruiting a Commercial Controller for a flagship Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) partnership within a global food and beverage business. The role leads the commercial strategy for a major QSR customer across the UK and Ireland, influences wider European market alignment and sits at the centre of decisions on strategy, innovation, sustainability and cross-functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the commercial strategy for a flagship QSR customer across the UK and Ireland.
• Influence wider European market alignment, sharing best practice and driving consistency across multiple countries.
• Build relationships with senior customer stakeholders across procurement, category, supply chain, ESG and operations.
• Identify new commercial opportunities, innovation platforms and long-term growth initiatives.
• Lead complex cross-functional projects across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Category, Supply Chain and Sustainability.
• Drive pricing strategy, commercial negotiations and business performance while balancing long-term partnerships with profitable growth.

Required profile

• Significant experience managing a major QSR, foodservice or strategically important FMCG customer.
• Comfortable operating at Commercial Controller, Key Account Director or Senior Business Manager level.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects across multiple business functions.
• Strategic, collaborative and naturally relationship-led.

Required skills

• Strong commercial acumen, including pricing, inflation and complex negotiations.
• Commercial Controller, Key Account Director or Senior Business Manager level.

What we offer

• Salary of 85,000 to 100,000 GBP depending on experience.
• Car allowance of 7,000 GBP.
• 10% bonus.
• Hybrid working in London.
