Commercial FP&A Analyst

About the role

This is a full‑time, hybrid position (3 days in the office, 2 days remote) within a fast‑growing, privately owned business. Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will partner with operational teams to turn complex data into actionable commercial insight that drives strategic decisions and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Produce insightful financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision‑making.
• Develop budgets, forecasts and long‑term financial plans.
• Build and enhance management reporting and KPI dashboards.
• Analyse trends, profitability, margins and overall business performance.
• Collaborate with non‑finance stakeholders to present financial information clearly and commercially.
• Identify and implement improvements to processes, reporting and systems.
• Support senior management with ad‑hoc commercial analysis and business cases.
• Promote a data‑led culture across the organisation.

Required profile

• Strong commercial finance or FP&A background, preferably in a medium‑sized business.
• Excellent analytical ability to interpret complex data and deliver clear insights.
• Proactive mindset with a continuous‑improvement approach.
• Confident communicator able to challenge, influence and build relationships at all levels.
