Commercial Insurance Account Handler

About the role

We are partnering with a leading UK insurance broker to recruit two experienced Commercial Insurance Account Handlers. This hybrid, full‑time position offers the chance to work within a dynamic team of around 25 professionals and contribute to the growth of a fast‑expanding business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage renewals, mid‑term adjustments and new business enquiries for commercial client portfolios.
• Prepare renewal documentation, presentations and insurer submissions.
• Liaise with insurers to negotiate competitive terms and secure optimal cover.
• Support Account Executives in handling complex commercial accounts.
• Respond to client queries, maintain strong relationships and ensure accurate, compliant records.
• Identify opportunities to improve coverage, increase revenue and strengthen client retention.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience in commercial insurance broking.
• Strong knowledge of a wide range of commercial insurance products.
• Proven ability to manage a varied portfolio of commercial clients.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proactive, energetic and professional approach.
