Commercial Insurance Sales Manager – SME E‑Trade Division

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Sales Manager to lead the newly created SME E‑Trade division in our Vauxhall office. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will shape culture, drive performance and build a high‑performing team within a fast‑growing broker.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of Commercial Insurance Sales Executives.
• Drive sales, conversion, retention and quality targets across a broad range of SME risks.
• Demonstrate best‑practice sales behaviours and commercial insurance expertise.
• Conduct regular coaching, one‑to‑ones and performance reviews.
• Recruit, onboard and develop new team members as the division expands.
• Monitor KPIs, productivity and pipeline activity, analysing data to improve conversion rates.

Required profile

• Proven experience in SME commercial insurance sales, preferably with E‑Trade distribution.
• Track record of leading and growing sales teams in a brokerage environment.
• Strong commercial acumen across trades, construction, property, retail, hospitality and professional services.
• Ability to maintain excellent customer outcomes and regulatory standards.

Required skills

• Experience with E‑Trade insurance platforms.
• In‑depth knowledge of commercial insurance products for SMEs.
